Proud promoter of Montreal's museums, the Board of Montreal Museum Directors first launched the new Montreal Museums app for iPhone and iPod touch on January 18, 2011 with a new version launch on May 26, 2011.

The newly added features of the app include the ability to ‘check in' via Facebook, allowing users to alert their friends of the current exhibition they are visiting, and the integration of Twitter so fans can tweet about their favourite works.
